ISML 2011: Kanade, Eu surge into early lead in Aquamarine

With Easter dawning on the Saimoe community, it was time for the return of the 2011 International Saimoe League. Match Day 1 of the Aquamarine phase began with a bang, as Kanade Tachibana and Eucliwood Hellscythe came away big winners.

Tachibana whipped Shiina 6139-1396 in an all-Angel Beats! mismatch while Hellscythe rocked Asami Iwasawa 5097-2329.

In other action...Kyou Fujibayashi defeated Kagami Hiiragi 3888-3539, Mafuyu Shiina prevailed over Tsumugi Kotobuki 3806-3795, newcomer Victorique de Blois began her ISML campaign on the winning track with a 4187-3233 win over Index Prohibitorum, Yui Hirasawa rocked Kuroko Shirai 4678-3111 and Yuki Nagato bowled over Sora Kasugano 5092-2652.

Hitagi Senjougahara whipped past Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere 4339-3138, Holo chomped up Mato Kuroi 3751-3554, Nadeko Sengoku trounced Konata Izumi 4209-3198, Charlotte Dunois rolled past Nagisa Furukawa 4435-3004 and Ruri Gokou was all business against Houki Shinonono, 4958-2564.

Saber cruised past Fate Testarossa 4114-3006, Shana torched Huang Lingyin 4949-2659, Haruhi Suzumiya bounced Seraphim 4859-2890, Mikoto Misaka railgunned Mikuru Asahina 4884-2948 and Tomoyo Sakagami pounced on Laura Bodewig 4105-3176.

Mio Akiyama leveled Ayase Aragaki 5004-2754, Hinagiku Katsura defeated C.C> 4384-3134, Yui trampled over Konjiki ni Yami 4390-3051, Yuri Nakamura shot down Ui Hirasawa 4747-2972 and Kirino Kousaka hammered Haruna 4144-3139.

Wrapping up ISML action, Nagi Sanzen'in edged Last Order 3766-3529, Azusa Nakano demolished Nymph 5058-2628 and Taiga Aisaka romped past Rin Tosaka 4669-2929.

Neo-Venezia's legacy may seem to be tarnished for the long haul. In the special match, Rei Ayanami pulled off a statement victory, defeating Alice Carroll 3675-2486.
