ISML 2012: Aria and Louise take the lead

Match Day 2 of the 2012 International Saimoe League Amethyst Necklace phase continued with Aria Holmes Kanzaki and Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere leading the charge in the Nova and Stella Divisions. It's still early, the race is still wide-open, but the pack of contenders is thinning out.

Let's take a look at the results.

NOVA DIVISION

In the Nova Division, Yozora Mikazuki defeated Shouko Kirishima 4086-3550, Elucia De Lute Ima edged Kurisu Makise 3874-3779, Sena Kashiwazaki cruised past Meiko Honma 4940-2846, Mato Kuroi blasted Sora Kasugano 4653-3100, Mizuki Himeji won a 3712-3698 thriller over Shiori Shiomiya and Eucliwood Hellscythe destroyed Kanon Nakagawa 5784-2006.

Kirino Kousaka annihilated Yuno Gasai 5262-2542, Charlotte Dunoid rolled past Kyouko Sakura 4746-2865, Haruno defeated Homura Akemi 4059-3765, Aria Holmes Kanzaki gunned down Masami iwasawa 4357-3495, Ruri Gokou blew past Riko Mina 5165-2689 and Erio Touwa whipped past Haqua De Lot Herminium 4062-3355.

Wrapping up Nova play, Kanade Tachibana sliced and diced Fear Kubrick 6316-1690, Kobato Hasegawa ran past Irisviel von Einzbern 4728-3073. Victorique de Blois overran Minami Shimada 4636-2806, Yui rocked Kanade Suzutsuki 5205-2670, Yuri Nakamura gunned down Ayase Aragaki 5340-2640 and Inori Yuzuriha silenced Subaru Konoe 4219-3260.

STELLA DIVISION

In the Stella Division, Tomoyo Sakagami defeated C.C. 4356-3370, Kyou Fujibayashi prevailed over Illyasviel von Einzbern 3924-3821, Hitagi Senjougahara destropyed Kuroko Shirai 4580-3126, Hinagiku Katsura trampled over Hecate 4741-2735, Ikaros flew past Holo 4071-3303 and Azusa Nakano romped past Mikuru Asahina 5341-2660.

Nadeko Sengoku chalked up a 4613-3303 victory over Tsumugi Kotobuki, Mio Akiyama drilled Nymph 5110-2874, Taiga Aisaka roared past Konjiki no Yami 5132-2739, Yui Hirasawa rocked Konata Izuki 4313-3373, defending champion Mikoto Misaka electrocuted Ui Hirasawa 5630-2417 and Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere defeated Kagami hiiragi 4021-3615.

Wrapping up Stella action, Shana torched Indez Librorum Prohibitorum 5620-2310, Yuki Nagato annihilated Last Order 5094-2911, Saber slashed past Mafuyu Shiina 5256-2438, Haruhi Suzumiya dominated Kotomi Ichinose 5443-2544, Rin Tosaka harangued Nagisa Furukawa 4156-3602 and Shinobu Oshino chomped up Nagi Sanzen'in 4022-3606.

Minatsu Shiina and Miki Hanabishi teamed up to shut down Rima Mashiro and Suzu Hagimura 4231-2552. Could this be the year that Shakugan no Shana finally makes itself relevant in terms of ISML glory? That seems to be the case as Alastor and Tiamat crushed Bardiche and Raising Heart 4607-2818 in further proof that Nanoha's lasting impact is starting to fde fast.
