No joke about it.

Every election seems to be different, yet all share the same materials in common: a provisional envelope set, a white box, a red box, and a ballot box, among necessities. This special April 8 election that I will be working has its own unique quirks. No InkaVote. A simple large ballot sheet. A cardboard ballot box. The first voter even gets to help out the pollworkers. Compared to the County elections, this looks simpler and old-fashioned, but effective. And, given the fact that it IS a mere primary, AND that this is just for thr City of Long Beach, it should be a nice change-up to the next election, held in early June.

This is the second of four elections I will be working this year.

It seems that early on, this month is going to be a busy one. For example, I have an interview tomorrow, along with my regular ROP and internship fluff. And then I have the election and a few other events going on next week. I am keeping myself occupied. This will be a short entry. I'm cutting it off here.
