ISML 2011: Stage set for final Preliminaries day

Match Day 14 of the 2011 International Saimoe League Preliminaries, and Day 2 of Phase III, saw the field whitted down to 48 hopefuls in the hunt for the last 18 spots.
In Pool 1, Tsumugi Kotobuki finished first with 3,939 votes. Others progressing to the final match day include Mafuyu Shiina with 3,600 votes, Cecelial Alcorr with 3,114 votes, Ika-Musume with 2,984 votes and Fuuko Ibuki with 2,811 votes.
In Pool 2, Nagi Sanzen'in took one more step towards qualifying for another ISML, earning 3,731 votes. Others progressing to the final match day include Shiina of Angel Beats! with 3,346 votes, Kurimu Sakurano with 3,140 votes, Tsukasa Hiiragi with 3,041 votes and Minori Kushieda with 2,658 votes.
Index Prohibitorum is hoping to join Mikoto Misaka and Last Order in the ISML regular season fold after earning the most votes in Pool 3 with 3,807. Others advancing from Pool 3 include Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere with 3,551 votes, Mato Kuroi with 3,431 votes, Maria with 2,832 votes and Mikan Yuuki with 2,803 votes.
C.C. has been regarded as one of the most consistent characters in the International Saimoe League. The flagship moekko of Code Geass earned the most votes in Pool 4 with 3,842 votes. Others advancing from Pool 4 include Elucia de Lute Irma with 3,645 votes, Homura Akemi with 3,251 votes, Ruiko Saten with 3,238 votes aqnd Mizuki Himeji with 3,022 votes.
Seraphim moved one step closer towards joining the fold of new ISML entrants with 3,750 votes in Pool 5. Others advancing include Asami Iwasawa with 3,446 votes, Illyasviel von Einzbern with 3,217 votes, Astraea with 2,891 votes and Kanon Nakagawa with 2,661 votes.
Holo dominated Pool 6, earning 3,909 votes. Others moving on from Pool 6 include Konjiki no Yami with 3,720 votes, Kotomi Ichinose with 3,399 votes, Ami Kawashima with 3,011 votes and Mami Tomoe with 2,510 votes. Ryoko Okami was one of the three wild card survivors with 2,431 votes and she will also proceed to the final Preliminaries match day.
In Pool 7, Ayase Aragaki earned the most votes with 3,691 votes. Others moving on to the final match day in the Preliminaries include Laura Bodewig with 3,654 votes, Kuroko Shirai with 3,516 votes, Merry Nightmare with 2,936 votes and Nanoha Takamachi with 2,605 votes. Shinobu Oshino, with 2,423 votes, also proceeded to the final match day as a wild card.
In Pool 8, Ikaros earned 3,568 votes to finish first. Others advancing to the final match day include Fate Testarossa with 3,555 votes, Ritsu Tainaka with 3,493 votes, Nozomi Kiriya with 2,876 votes and Chizuru Akaba with 2,753 votes. Kaori Kanzaki was the third wild card survivor from this group, earning 2,395 votes to make it to the final match day.
Haruna finished first in Pool 9 with 3,796 to be within touching distance of the ISML Regular Season. Others advancing to Preliminaries Match Day 15 include Ui Hirasawa with 3,712 votes, Shoko Kirishima with 3,457 votes, Minatsu Shiina with 2,997 votes and Shiori Shiomiya with 2,595 votes.
