Match Day 2 of the 2021 International Saimoe League Topaz Period is in the books. In the Female Division, Mikoto Misaka defeated Takagi 1657-903, Mashiro Shiina smashed Origami Tobiichni 1467-940, Rikka Takanashi rocked Rio Futaba 1514-847, Shouko Nishimiya prevailed over Schwi Dola 1172-1128, Shiro dominated Sora Kasugano 1323-955, Chizuru Ichinose defeated Kaede Azusagawa 1123-1059, Misaki Shokuhou roared past Taiga Aisaka 1340-1049 and Kurisu Makise won the closest race of the round, and possibly the closest dual match of the tournament, a 1102-1101 thriller over Suzune Horikita that went down to the wire. As the winning margin was a single vote, no other result can come closer unless a race involves a winning score margin in the decimals below 1.

In Spring seasonal action, Kobayashi flew past Sakura Minamoto 1261-912, Shuna pounded Ai Mizuno 1171-830, Azusa Aizawa won a 988-963 snoozer over Hestia, Miko Iino dominated Shirokusa Kachi 1384-701, Sayu Ogiwara routed Masumi Sera 1340-699 and Mash Kyrielight smashed Yuki Yoshikawa 1140-835. In a four-way race of male contestants, Light Yagami came out a runaway winner with 887 votes, and finally, in a special exhibition, Undertale never stood a chance at being a relevant player in Saimoe, as Darkrai took Mettaton EX to the cleaners, 1116-594.
