If the 2009 International Saimoe League Emerald phase were to end today, Suigintou would get her second necklace.

But we are only through six match days. Not nine.

Which means...there is still some more to go.

Not that the Rozen Maiden Alice Dolls seem to mind. It has been another sweep for them.

Shinku defeated Saber 1763-1328 in Mexico City, Suiseiseki scored an impressive 1660-1553 upset of Yuki Nagato in Lagos and Suigintou took out Konata Izumi 1780-1238 in Lima.

Meanwhile, Haruhi Suzumiya was tested by Horo, but she took the spicy wolf girl down in Mumbai by the score of 1607-1493. And in Seoul, defending champion Fate Testarossa Harlaown got stunned by a resurging Rin Tosaka in a 1516-1479 thriller.

It was also a red-letter day for the Toradora! team. Taiga Aisaka ripped past Vita 1821-884, Minori Kushieda prevailed over Yuuhi Katagiri 1416-1070 in Dhaka and Ami Kawashima trounced Akari Mizunashi 1605-1057 in New York City.

In other action...Shana blazed past Tsukasa Hiiragi 1949-1248, Hanyuu Furude crushed Reimu Hakurei 1549-1120 in Sao Paolo, Rika Furude got the best of Rena Ryuuguu 1477-1157 in Shanghai, Remilia Scarlet scored a 1430-750 victory over Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga in Los Angeles and Ayu Tsukimiya routed Shiki Ryogi 1577-1084 in Karachi.

Maria defeated Mei Sunihara 1503-1386 in Manila, Tomoyo Sakagami busted Nanoha Takamachi 1725-1314 in Cairo, Evangeline McDowell prevailed over Shiori Misaka 1421-1071 in Jakarta and Kotomi Ichinose sounded off Kagami Hiiragi in an impressive 1566-1379 victory in Paris.

Mai Kawasumi slashed Anya Earlsteim 1575-1187 in Istanbul, Kyou Fujibayashi scored a thrilling 1409-1353 victory in Moscow, Konjiki no Yami (Golden Darkness) chalked up a 1527-1261 victory over Illyasviel von Einzbern in London, Tehran witnessed Amu Hinamori score a 1183-1027 victory over Kallen Kozuki (Stadtfeld), Sayuri Kurata took out Tamaki Kawazoe 1555-812 in Bangkok and Fuuko Ibuki blasted Marisa Kirisame apart 1741-1063 in Bogota.

Chii routed Kirino Chiba 1530-820 in Santiago, Mikoto Misaka prevailed over Makoto Sawatari 1177-1040 in Kinshasa, Mikuru Asahina had no problems against Hayate Yagami 1810-934 in Toronto. Nagi chalked up a 1284-1133 win over Patchouli Knowledge in Algiers and Alice Carroll defeated Aya Shameimaru 1339-763 in Milan.


Wrapping up action today...Misuzu Kamio delivered a surprising 1414-1197 victory over Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere 1414-1197 in Madrid, Sydney witnessed Hinagiku Katsura defeat Nagi Sanzen'in in a kendo contest, 1583-1190, Sakura Kinomoto scored a thrilling 1504-1500 eye-opener of a result over C.C. in Santo Domingo and Nayuki Minase dominated Index L. Prohibitorum 1521-950 in Katowice.

You can't say anything short of unbelievable for Haruhi Suzumiya.

She is still unbeaten, through Match Day 5 in the 2009 International Saimoe League Emerald phase.

Suzumiya, the franchise character of her own series and the beloved leader of the SOS Brigade, pummeled Evangeline McDowell in Buenos Aires by the score of 1912-1123.

Defending champion Fate Testarossa Harlaown kept her pace with a 1688-1183 victory over Misuzu Kamio in Mexico City.

The day saw some impressive sweeps as well.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni was one beneficiary. Rena Ryuuguu had easy choppings against Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga 1736-847 in Jakarta, Rika Furude took down Mikoto Misaka 1553-1175 in Sao Paulo and Hanyuu Furude rolled past Patchouli Knowledge 1603-912 in Santiago.

Hayate the Combat Butler was another. Nagi Sanzen'in blasted Index L. Prohibitorum 1715-1000 in Kinshasa, Maria prevailed over Makoto Sawatari 1625-1115 in Cairo and Hinagiku Katsura dismissed Reimu Hakurei 1803-962 in Toronto.

Lucky Star's girls also got the job done. Konata Izumi defeated Vita 1485-1194 in Algiers, Kagami Hiiragi brushed Chii off 1451-1041 in Bangkok and Tsukasa Hiiragi pulled off a thrilling 1472-1455 in Shanghai.

Not to be outdone, the SOS Brigade also took care of business. Yuki Nagato defeated Anya Alstreim handily in Milan, 1659-881. Mikuru Asahina had no problems either, scoring an easy 1750-1137 victory over Ayu Tsukimiya in Sydney.
