Mashiro Shiina defended her International Saimoe League Topaz Necklace on Match Day 8 of the 2015 International Saimoe League Topaz Period with 2464 votes (24.70%) for a score calculation of 57.532 in a field comprised mostly of Stella participants. Asuna Yuuki was second with 1919 votes for a calculation of 43.114 vote3s, Yoshino earned 1063 votes (10.66%) for a score of 38.371, Rin Thosaka had 1285 votes (12.88%) for a score of 37.081, Kurisu Makise had 1170 votes (11.73%) for a score of 36.170, Shiro had 1216 votes (12.19%) for a score of 35.343 and Jibril held up the rear with 858 votes (8.60%) for a score of 34.542.
"The Topaz Necklace is something special to me," said Shiina at a press conference at Suimei University of the Arts. "Being able to stand my ground and keep this necklace for a third straight year is a testament to my support and fan base for keeping the faith. So hopefully this will allow me to start the postseason on a strong note."
Sora finally broke his losing streak with a Topaz Pendant victory, earning 2321 votes (23.62%) for a score of 55.512. Accelerator earned 2313 votes for a score of 52.343, Izayoi Sakamaki earned 1295 votes (13.16%) for a score of 35.883, Yuuta Togashi won 974 votes (9.91%) for a score of 34.917, Seiya Kanie earned 1079 votes (10.98%) for a score of 34.787, Ryuuji Takasu won 976 votes (9.93%) for a score of 32.971 and Mikoto Mikoshiba held up the rear with 868 votes for a score of 29.589.
"Citizens of Elchea," said Sora at the press conference in Elchea City, "You now have a ruler that is the owner of the Topaz Pendant, that has the power of the sun! I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of my constituents for your undying support and patience and hope that you will support my cause and Shiro's cause this postseason."
Lelouch Lamperouge defeated Kazuto Kirigaya 2289-1943 to win the Diamond Crown. Houtarou Oreki was thirs with 1636 votes, Touma Kamijou was fourth with 1062 votes, Edward Elric was fifth with 1004 vores, Tomoya Okazaki was sixth with 1002 votes and Hideyoshi Kinoshita was last with 991 votes.
In other exhibition action, Kaguya and Yuzuru Yamai defeated Lala Satalin and Nana Aster Deviluke 3058-2192, Maria Takayama and Index L. Prohibitorum prevailed over Dalian and Nagi Kodachi 27158-2640, Akari Akaza and Suzu Hagimura crushed Celty Sturluson and Mami Tomoe 3074-2181, Ruiko Saten and Kazari Uiharu routed Mikuru Asahina and Tsuruya 3271-2396, and Kyouko Sakura and Sayaka Miki teamed up to defeat Teana Lanster and Subaru Nakajima 2737-2553.
