Match Day 1 of the 2016 International Saimoe League postseason is in the books. In the Female Division, Mashiro Shiina defeated Nanami Aoyama 1638-1237, Illyasviel von Einzbern took down Kurisu Makise 1549-1484, Shana torched Ayase Aragaki 1843-1174, Shiro won the closest race of the round, a 1525-1515 thriller over Kurumi Tokisaki, Yukino Yukinoshita rolled past Iroha Isshiki 1588-1183, Nao Tomori cruised past Jibril 1563-1422, Saber outdueled Asuna Yuuki 1558-1528 and Rin Tosaka whipped past Yui Yuigahama 1649-1470.
In The Male Division, Hachiman Hikigaya routed Izayoi Sakamaki 1774-1020, Ryuuji Takasu roared past Souma Yukihira 1450-1282, Sora slammed Saitama 1589-1285, Touma Kamijou broke Kyon 1365-1274, Yuzuru Otonashi clobbered Keima Katsuragi 1532-1198, Edward Elric scored the Upset of the Round, a 1378-1364 win over Korosensei, Koyomi Araragi prevailed over Rintarou Okabe 1349-1308 and Archer walloped Kiritsugu Emiya 1352-1237.
In Spring Diadem action, Emilia routed Beatrice 1966-914 and Rem crushed Mumei 2197-776.
