We are officially halfway through the 2013 International Saimoe League Emerald Necklace Period. Kuroyukihime leads the Nova Division, while defending ISML Champion Kanade Tachibana holds sway in the Stella Division. Everyone has everything to play for in the next three match days. Let's take a look at a recap of the night's action.

NOVA DIVISION

In the Nova Division, Eru Chitanda routed Erio Touwa 4614-2966, Nyarlathotep annihilated Karen Araragi 4690-2876, Shinka Nibutani took out Subaru Konoe 4773-2927, Rikka Takanashi slammed Shouko Kirishima 5446-2646, Momo Beila Deviluke defeated Mei Misaki 4138-3463 and Fuuko Kurasaki prevailed over Noumi Kudryavka 3731-3495.

After three match days in the 2013 International Saimoe League Emerald Necklace period, Mashiro Shiina leads in the Nova Division, while defending ISML Champion Kanade Tachibana heads the Stella Division. It's been another great match day in the ISML, so let's take a look at the day's action.

NOVA DIVISION

In the Nova Division, Suguha Kirigaya defeated Karen Araragi 3924-3131, Mikan Yuuki cruised past Subaru Konoe 3694-2807, Kobato Hasegawa ran past Keiko Ayano 4658-2630, Homura Akemi delivered the upset of the round: 3509-3420 over Erio Touwa, Yui won a 3651-3601 nailbiter over Karuta Roromiya and Mashiro Shiina routed Shinka Nibutani 4565-2824.

Aria Holmes Kanzaki gunned down Tsukihi Araragi 4022-2963, Rikka Takanashi tore apart Nanami Aoyama 4227-3156, Nyarlathotep won a 3591-3561 barn-burner over Inori Yuzuriha, Kuriyukihime blew past Touka Takanashi 4756-2616, Yozora Mikazuki drubbed Ririchiyo Shirakiin 3840-3197 and Shouko Kirishima defeated Meiko Honma 3814-3267.

Match Day 2 of the 2013 International Saimoe League Emerald Necklace period has concluded and Yui Kotegawa leads the Nova Division while Kanade Tachibana heads the Stella Division. This was unlike recent match days, in which the average voter turnout was over 9,000 per contest. Let's take a look at the results this match day in the ISML.

Match Day 1 of the 2013 International Saimoe League Emerald Necklace Period is history, and the usual suspects pulled off some impressive results. Currently, Keiko Ayano and Kyou Fujibayashi lead the Nova and Stella Divisions, but the next few match days will tell us a bit more as to how this will shape up.

NOVA DIVISION

Australia to the ASEAN Football Federation...finally!

April 9 (Reuters) - Australia will continue to compete in future editions of the East Asian Cup despite their impending membership of Southeast Asia's ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), officials told Reuters on Tuesday.

The Socceroos will have their AFF invite affiliation upgraded at the federation's Extraordinary Congress in August but have no plans to compete in its biennial Suzuki Cup against teams more than 100 places below them in the FIFA rankings.

"Australia was invited to participate in this year's EAFF Cup. If invited again we will continue to accept and participate in this competition," a Football Federation of Australia spokesman said.

"At this point we would not seek to enter senior national teams into the Suzuki Cup, however, Australia is committed to entering underage and Futsal teams into AFF competitions."

Australia joined the Asian Football Confederation in 2006 after moving from the less competitive Oceania Federation where they routinely racked up double-digit victories over largely amateur sides in the Pacific Islands.

The Socceroos, ranked 39th by world governing body FIFA, were then made invite members of the AFF and have routinely competed in youth competitions in the 11 nation federation.

Last week at an AFF meeting in Malaysia they had their entry 'unanimously supported' by members, the spokesman said.

Australia will make their debut in the EAFF Cup in July after coming through qualifiers against North Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Guam undefeated with a largely youthful side in December.

The four team finals also feature Japan, China and hosts South Korea. (Reporting by Patrick Johnston in Singapore)
