ISML 2011: Taiga Aisaka on track to win Emerald

Taiga Aisaka is looking like a clear-cut choice to win the 2011 International Saimoe League necklace after defeating Huang Lingyin 4709-2128.

Haruhi Suzumiya will need a strong showing in the necklace round to deny the Tenori Tiger her shot at glory after blowing apart Shiina 5014-1889. Mikoto Misaka finished the Emerald round-robin on top after winning a 3646-3612 thriller over Shana. Kanade Tachibana finished third after defeating Hinagiku Katsura 4105-2987. Yuki Nagato finished the Emerald in fourth after trouncing Eucliwood Hellscythe 3836-3262.

In other ISML action...defending champion Mio Akiyama scored an impressive 3339-3279 victory over Azusa Nakano, Victorique de Blois blew past Konata Izumi, Charlotte Dunois rushed past Nymph 3731-2469, Yui trounced Mikuru Asahina 3895-2960 and Nadeko Sengoku annihilated 3826-2849.

Tomoyo Sakagami destroyed Mato Kuroi 3673-3031, Hitagi Senjougahara whipped past Laura Bodewig 4143-2142, C.C. outmuscled Kuroko Shirai 3748-3037, Yui Hirasawa rocked Asami Iwasawa 4305-2567 and Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere defeated Holo 3270-3056.

Kagami Hiiragi punched Konjiki no Yami aside 3413-2942, Ruri Gokou mowed past Ayase Aragaki 4553-1988, Ui Hirasawa took out Mafuyu Shiina 3478-3106, Tsumugi Kotobuki knocked down Seraphim 3841-2799 and Kyou Fujibayashi picked up a 3009-2827 victory over Nagisa Furukawa.

Wrapping up ISML action...Nagi Sanzen'in shredded Rin TOsaka 3680-2752, Kirino Kousaka cruised past Fate Testarossa 3900-2685, Saber obliterated Haruna 4028-2583, Yuri Nakamura shot down Sora Kasugano 4092-2478 and Last Order took apart Houki Shinonono 3515-2916.

In the special match, Hikari Yagami defeated Ai Haibara 3106-3042.
