Match Day 10 of the 2013 International Saimoe League preliminaries took place, and there is some separation from the pack heading into the third day of the second phase in the Nova Division.
In Nova Group 1, Sanae Dekomori defeated Tsubasa Hanekawa 2992-2342. Yuno Gasai was third with 1776 votes. Homura Akemi, already a veteran to anime's premier character competition, slammed Yuiko Kurugaya 3055-2476. Erica Blandelli held up the rear in that match with 1321 votes. Still the favorite to progress, Keiko Ayano took down Shiori Shiomiya 3550-2341. Medaka Kurokami was last with 979 votes.
Karuta Roromiya defeated Fuuko Kurasaki in Nova Group 2, 2687-2171, with Nobuna Oda holding up the rear with 1789 votes. Nanami Aoyama, the odds-on favorite to win this group, overpowered Mio Nishizono 3969-1616. Miho Nishizumi didn't stand a chance, as her 918 votes compunded Girls und Panzer's status as a rather overrated show. Momo Beila Deviluke is hoping to add to To-Love-Ru's chances this season with her 3029-2003 decision over Tsumiki Miniwa. Mayaka Ibara was last with 1730 votes.
Ririchiyo Shirakiin won her match her Nova Group 3, a 2907-2077 victory over Lala Satalin Deviluke. Hanbee Takenaka was last with 1631 votes. Tsukihi Araragi also came out a winner with her 2846-2464 victory over Kumin Tsuyuri. Akiko Himenokouji was last with 1553 votes. Inori Yuzuriha is the favorite in this group, and her 3800-2041 rout of Kyouko Toshinou added to her case. Kuro Matsumi lagged significantly, earning just 852 votes.
Shinobu Oshino destroyed Riko Mine, 3291-1842, in Nova Group 4. Iori Nagase was last with 1613 votes. Touka Takanashi, the group favorite here, annihilated Kyouko Sakura 3911-2441. Ran Mouri was last with 648 votes. Nyarlathotep blew past Koneko Toujou 2874-2030. Shizuku Mizutani held up the rear with 1783 votes.
In Nova Group 5, Shouko Kirishima prevailed over Elucia de Lute Ima 2584-2402. Asako Natsume was last with 1732 votes. Rin Natsume is the favorite in Nova 5, and she defeated Yui Kotegawa 3039-2517. Toki Onjouji never stood a chance, winning just 856 votes. Aria Holmes Kanzaki is hoping to make it a perfect 2-for-2 in Nova qualification and wasted no time in gunning down Irisviel von Einzbern 2815-2281. Sawa Okita was last with 1759 votes.
Meiko Honma easily pounded Tenri Ayukawa 2915-1938 in Nova Group 6. Akari Akaza was last with 1935 votes. Anna Kushina prevailed over Ritsu Tainaka, 2642-2510. Mayuri Shiina was last with 1721 votes. Noumi Kudryavka, the favorite in this group, grounded Mami Tomoe 3263-2202. Hakaze Kusaribe was last with 1282 votes.
Kurisu Makise was all business over Komari Kamikita in Nova Group 7, 3391-2208. Yuuko Kanoe was left in the dust with 990 votes. Rea Sanka bounced back with a 2451-2370 upset victory over Subaru Konoe. Morgiana was last with 1705 votes. Mikan Yuuki defeated Haqua du Lot Herminium 3002-1876. Minami Shimada held up the rear with 1632 votes.
Mei Misaki defeated Himeko Inaba in Nova Group 8, 2851-2422, with Watashi coming in third with 1392 votes. Karen Araragi, the favorite in this group, torched Haruka Saigusa 3028-1821. Wakana Sakai was last with 1773 votes. Finally, the Goddess, Madoka Kaname, defeated Neko 2639-2378. Rias Gremory was dead last with 1783 votes.
