ISML 2013: Railgun, Tenshi to Semis

Match Day 8 of the 2013 International Saimoe League postseason continued with the second wave of quarterfinal action. The expected favorites progressed through to the semifinals. Once again, the winner of the Tiara will come from the Stella Division.
Mikoto Misaka won every region except the USA, Africa, Wetern Europe, Korea and Japan en route to a 6151-5863 victory over Ayase Aragaki. Meanwhile, defending ISML Champion Kanade Tachibana kept on rolling, sweeping every region to slice and dice Kuroyukihime, 7656-4276. A couple of consolation matches also took place. Rikka Takanashi won every region except Canada, Africa, Taiwan and the Middle East to defeat Nanami Aoyama, 6055-5159. Taiga Aisaka, meanwhile, won every region except Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan to roar past Inori Yuzuriha, 6291-4833.
Six other group matches were also taking place. The Black Rabbit chalked up another group exhibition victory, defeating Maria Takayama 5422-2888. Masuzu Natsukawa was third with 2693 votes. Kurumi Tokisaki steered the boat for the Date A Live ticket over Yukino Yukinoshita, 5474-3096. Misaki Shoukuhou was last with 3042 votes. In spite of Sakurasou's dismal performance in the postseason, Rita Ainsworth kept hope alive with a 4307-3485 victory over Anko Kitashirakawa. Maou was third with 2905 votes.
Also steering the boat for Date A Live was Yoshino, who validated the series as one of the more underrated shows of this season with a 5238-3939 dismantling of Azusa Azuki. Take that, 2channel! Suzuno Kamazuki was last with 2182 votes. Kei Takishima edged Nezumi in a 2776-2247 snoozer, with Tasuku Kurosaki last with 1199 votes. Finally, Atsushi Outani prevailed over Akira Takizawa 2421-2287. Shinobu Morita was last with 1368 votes.
