The Keion-bu (Sawako did say)

The Keion-bu, Sawako did say,
Had a certain light feeling at practice each day.
With tea and cakes, sweet music to keep,
And a sound that was strong, so rich and so deep.

K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!,
Onward in search of Budokan.

There's Azusa, and Tsumugi too,
But who could bang those drums like Ritsu?
And Mio's bass, it came alive,
And Yui and Giita complete the five.

K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!,
Onward in search of Budokan.

They practiced hard, they practiced fast,
And just like that, the time did pass.
They're more than friends, and that's no lie.
The love they would share could ne'er go by.

K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!,
Onward in search of Budokan.

When it's June, and they need a break,
To Tsumugi's villa the band did take.
A private beach with lots of love.
The angels would smile from heaven above.

K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!,
Onward in search of Budokan.

One April day, poor Azusa cried,
Graduation had pierced her deep inside.
But Yui said, "Please don't shed a tear.
I promise you that we'll always be here."

K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!,
Onward in search of Budokan.

So let us all, in song and rhyme,
Sing praises to Hokago Tea Time.
The sweetest sound, their fans all sigh,
From Sakuragaoka High.

K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!, K-ON!,
Onward in search of Budokan.
