ISML 2014: Second chance begins for Nova stragglers

Match Day 9 of the 2014 International Saimoe League began, and a number of new faces are hoping to make the cut in the Nova Division. The turnout was significantly lower than before, which surprised the Bedlam on Baltic Avenue to now end. Let's take a look at who took care of business.
In Nova Group 1, Eru Chitanda (3586 votes) came out a runaway winner over Yui Yuigahara (1726 votes) and Kouko Kaga. Chocolat (2638 votes) scored victories over Noire (1915 votes) and Ai Astin (1740 votes). Mikan Yuuki (3375 votes) also came up victories with wins over Kyouko Sakura (1964 votes) and Maki Nishikino (1254 votes).
Touka Yatogami (3896 votes) is hoping to qualify out of Nova Group 2 after defeating Tamako Kitashirakawa (1576 votes) and Komari Koshigaya (1289 votes). Karuta Roromiya (2583 votes) is hoping to go through after slamming the door on You Kasukabe (2162 votes) and Manaka Mukaido (1591 votes). Charlotte Belew (2722 votes) also secured victories over Ouka Yuuouji (2252 votes) and Celestia Ludenberg (1398 votes).
Renge Miyauchi won in Nova Group 3 with 2522 votes, beating out Natsume Tsuchimikado (2053 votes) and Ai Fuyuumi (1766 votes). Kurousagi is the favorite in Nova Group 3, winning 3220 votes to beat out Himeko Inaba (1767 votes) and Neptune (1433 votes), Ai Shindou also won with 2608 votes, beating out Mei Misaki (2507 votes) and Gou Matsuoka (1295 votes).
Ririchiyo Shirakiin was a winner in Nova Group 4, winning 2597 votes to take out Asuka Kudou (1973 votes) and Yuno Gasai (1931 votes). Yukino Yukinoshita (3368 votes) is the favorite here, scoring victories over Nepgear (1799 votes) and Sayaka Miki (1436 votes). Sanae Dekomori (2959 votes) also won, beating out Noumi Kudryavka (2339 votes) and Karen Kujou (1205 votes).
Touka Takanashi was a huge winner in Nova Group 5, winning 3016 votes to defeat Yuiko Kurugaya (2178 votes) and Hotaru Ichijou (1392 votes). Furano Yukihira edged out Madoka Kaname in a close race, 2332-2263, while Myucel Foaran came out third (1910 votes). Momo Velia Deviluke also won with 2716 votes to beat Akatsuki (2268 votes) and Iona (1208 votes).
Suguha Kirigaya is hoping to get promoted to the Stela Division, winning her Nova Group 6 match with 3342 votes to beat Cthugha (2057 votes) and Tomoko Kuroki (1369 votes). Leticia Draculair won a 2765-2755 thriller over Misaki Shokuhou, the closest race of the match, while Takao was left in the dust (988 votes). Shiori Shiomiya also took care of business with 2757 votes, beating out Laura Bodewig (2370 votes) and Komari Kamikita (1377 votes).
Nyarlathotep has her eyes set on promotion, winning 2954 votes to beat Yukina Himeragi (2368 votes) and Ryuuko Matoi (1200 votes) in Nova Group 7. Mitsuki Nase (2787 votes) took down Kyouko Kirigiri (1963 votes) and Masuzu Natsukawa (1772 votes). Nyaruko's top competition may come from Orogami Tobiiichi, who won 3266 votes to topple Frenda Seivelun (1864 votes) and Suzuka Dairenji (1564 votes).
Rin Natsume won 2397 votes to beat Emi Yusa (2170 votes) and Chisaki Hirasaira (1803 votes) in Nova Group 8. Haqua de Lot Herminium (3209 votes) is hoping to finally get off the schneid after defeating Mikasa Ackerman (2284 votes) and Kazusa Touma (1052 votes). Yui of Sword Art Online (2767 votes) also rolled past Frey (2052 votes) and Morgiana (1752 votes).
