There is plenty to play for in the 2014 International Saimoe League. Rin Natsume and Mashiro Shiina currently lead the Nova and Stella Divisions after Match Day 2 of the 2014 ISML Ruby Period. There were few upsets this round, so let's dive right into the results.
NOVA DIVISION
In the Nova Division, Azusa Azuki defeated Kurousagi 2361-2148, Yukino Yukinoshita rolled past Sanae Dekomori 2617-1936, Yoshino defeated Tohka Yatogami 2305-2099, Asuna Yuuki clobbered Touka Takanashi 2964-1759, Yukina Himeragi defeated Charlotte Belew 2224-1838 and Eru Chitanda took out Nanami Aoyama 2564-2160.
Kurumi Tokisaki gunned down Origami Tobiichi 3271-1206, Kuroyukihime flew past Suguha Kirigaya 3068-1491, Yaya defeated Momo Velia Deviluke 2311-2026, Ririchiyo Shirakiin cruised past Karuta Roromiya 2102-1569, MIsaki Shoukuhou prevailed over Mirai Kuriyama 2281-2138 and Rin Natsume won the closest match of the day, a 2125-2124 nailbiter over Shiori Shiomiya, which ties a record for lowest margin of victory.
Wrapping up action in the Nova, Noumi Kudryavka defeated Laura Bodewig 2129-1967, Mikan Yuuki whipped past Nyarlathotep 2227-2022, Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi prevailed over Shinka Nibutani 2365-2264, Kotori Itsuka annihilated Yui 3144-1496, Rikka Takanashi crushed Haqua du Lot Herminium 2804-1863 and Chocolat blew apart Furano Yukihira 2314-1543.
STELLA DIVISION
In the Stella Division, Ayase Aragaki rolled past Kurisu Makise 2792-1948, Saber won a thriller over Yuri Nakamura 2306-2299, Yuki Nagato defeated Kirino Kousaka 2518-2058, Haruhi Suzumiya dominated Meiko Honma 2539-2059, Yui-nyan rocked Yui Hirasawa 2681-1952 and Inori Yuzuriha steamrolled past Last Order 2611-2000.
Kanade Tachibana sliced and diced Azusa Nakano 2968-1840, Sora Kasugano drubbed Nadeko Sengoku 2466-1766, Shana torched Shinobu Oshino 2618-2118, Mikoto Misaka electrocuted Kobato Hasegawa 2863-1879, Hitagi Senjougahara defeated Erio Touwa 2192-2017 and Hinagiku Katsura prevailed over Masami Iwasawa 22361-2109.
Wrapping up play in the Stella Division, Taiga Aisaka roared past Charlotte Dunois 2825-1803, Eucliwood Hellscythe silenced Konjiki no Yami 2582-1766, Mashiro Shiina dismantled Sena Kashizawaki 3092-1559, defending champion Ruri Gokou ran past Mio Akiyama 2834-1994, Victorique de Blois defeated Yozora Mikazuki 2270-2026 and Shouko Kirishima scored the Upset of the Round: a 2238-2181 decision over Illyasviel von Einzbern.
In the Special Exhibitions, Ringo Kinoshita whipped past Claire Cruz 2401-1152 while Starship Ezekiel routed Tsugumi Komachi, 2011-898.
