ISML 2015: Ruby Period Continues As Hiroshima Is Remembered

Match Day 2 of the 2015 International Saimoe League Ruby Period concluded, and there have been a couple of key upsets along the way in a day that has seen form follow for the most part. Following the match day results, all of the contests held a moment of silence to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

In the Nova Division, Shiro trounced Eli Ayase 3004-2436, Shino Asada drubbed NIco Yazawa 2875-2436, Kotori Minami defeated Yukina Himeragi 2687-2277, Kurousagi bounced past Yaya 2656-2240, Latifa Fleuranza prevailed over Miyuki Shiba 2519-2424 and Jibril flew past Yoshino 2861-2527.

Mirai Kuriyama slashed past Terminus Est 2848-2070, Yui Yuigahama hammered Origami Tobiiichi 3300-2002, Isuzu Sento gunned down Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi 2774-2325, Kurumi Tokisaki shot down Enju Aihara 3153-2217, Chitoge Kirisaki whipped past Stephanie Dola 3006-2407 and Marika Tachibana defeated Satone Shichimiya 2755-2335.

Wrapping up Nova play, Kosaki Onodera defeated Yuuki Konno 2763-2376, Chiyo Sakura routed Azusa Azuki 3248-2027, Misaki Shokuhou rolled past Akame 2701-2366, Yukino Yukinoshita thumped Umi Sonoda 3076-2103, Maki Nishikino smashed Tina Sprout 2821-2242 and Kaori Miyazono stunned Tohka Yatogami 2614-2540.

In the Stella Division, Mashiro Shiina flattened Nadeko Sengoku 3155-2209, C.C. won the closest race of the night: a 2645-2635 thriller over defending champion Kotori Itsuka, Kurisu Makise leveled Kobato Hasegawa 2863-2211, Eru Chitanda whipped past Haruhi Suzumiya 2869-2414, Asuna Yuuki slashed past Kirino KOusaka 3242-1985 and Rin Tohsaka routed Charlotte Dunois 3264-1981.

Eucliwood Hellscythe silenced Yui Hirasawa 2664-2370, Azusa Nakano romped past Sena Kashiwazaki 2975-2174, Yuri Nakamura blasted Konjiki no Yami 3194-1944, Kuroyukihime flew past Yuki Nagato 3302-1791, Holo scored the Upset of the Round over Ayase Aragaki 2728-2550 and Rikka Takanashi defeated Shinobu Oshino 2728-2496.

Wrapping up Stella play, Illyasviel von Einzbern drilled Nyarlathotep 3126-1964, Nanami Aoyama defeated Hitagi Senjougahara 2755-2517, Taiga Aisaka roared past Shinka Nibutani 2718-2455, Momo Velia Deviluke prevailed over Mikan Yuuki 2354-2153, Yui-nyan rocked Shana 3190-2345 and Saber sliced and diced Inori Yuzuriha 2981-2271.

In the Male Division, Edward Elric pummeled Mikoto Mikoshiba 2792-2171, Sora slammed Levi 3086-1993, Kiritsugu Emiya defeated Rintarou Okabe 2476-2273, Izayoi Sakamaki whipped past Shirou Emiya 2540-2323, Hachiman Hikigaya routed Rentarou Satomi 3099-1799 and Gintoki Sakata smashed Raku Ichijou 2728-2105.

Seiya Kanie stormed past L Lawliet 2714-2171, Keima Katsuragi won a 2360-2298 barnburner over Shizuo Heiwajima, Touma Kamijou cruised past Ryuunosuke Akasaka 2753-2190, Accelerator accelerated past Yuuta Togashi 3074-2060, Umetarou Nozaki defeated Tatsuya Shiba 2509-2312 and Yuzuru Otonashi cruised past Izaya Orihara 2699-2229.

Wrapping up Male Division play, Kyon bombarded Ayumu Aikawa 2701-1962, Koyomi Araragi defeated Sadou Maou 2523-2194, Gilgamesh impaled Yato 2530-2157, Ryuuji Takasu roared past Ken Kaneki 2950-1813, Archer took out Tomoya Okazaki 2532-2432 anf Sorata Kanda made it a clean sweep for Sakurasou with a 2627-2167 victory over Shidou Itsuka.

In special exhibition play, Haru Onodera defeated Michiru Kinushima 2565-2314 and Kumiko Oumae prevailed over Megumi Tadokoro 2432-2383.
