A new period has begun in the 2021 International Saimoe League, and that is the Sapphire Period. Match Day 1 is done. In the Female Division, Mai Sakurajima thumped Beatrice 2047-1189, Nanami Aoyama defeated Zero Two 1668-1325, Nao Tomori rolled past Kaori Miyazono 1753-1155, Ai Hayasaka took down Shinka Nibutani 1672-1392, Utaha Kasumigaoka silenced Shouko Makinohara 1732-1271, Umaru Doma got off the schneid with a 1552-1283 scalp of Ichigo, Yui Yuigahama hammered Iroha Isshiki 1504-1366 and Rin Tohsaka prevailed over Kei Shirogane 1562-1490.
