So far, things are a bit even for now. Saki has not impressed so far at the prelims, save for Koromo Amae. It seems that Rozen Maiden could be taking a bow this year, but there are still some spots to be filled. Mikoto Misaka looks set to qualify, and I will be taking her as a sure bet to advance. Umineko no Naku Koro Ni and Evangelion have failed to impress the pollsters. Umineko is perhaps seen as a clone of Higurashi, and a inferior one at that; hence the lack of love for those candidates. A number of matches in groups 7, 9, and 13 will be ones to watch.
