ISML 2013: Eucliwood, Ruri to the semis

The old guard isn't going to give up the ghost this year, as Eucliwood Hellscythe and Ruri Gokou progressed to the semifinals of the 2013 International Saimoe League finals following Match Day 7 of the postseason.
Dominant victories in the Americas, Europe, Russia, Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and Vietnam paced Eucliwood Hellscythe to a 6555-5644 victory over Mashiro Shiina. Ruri Gokou, meanwhile, won every region except Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines and Indonesia en route to a comprehensive 7443-4985 victory over Azusa Nakano.
The consolation matches also kicked off on Postseason 7. Asuna Yuuki dominated every region except Eastern Europe, Korea and Japan en route to a 6826-4713 annihilation of Sena Kashiwazaki. Kobato Hasegawa did one better, sweeping every region to clobber Kirino Kousaka 6624-4950.
Several other group matches took place. Leticia Draculair defeated Rika Shiguma 4487-4140, with Maki Nishikino last with 2822 votes. Kotori Itsuka ran past Mikasa Ackerman 5749-3744, while Yui Yuigahama trailed behing with 2561 votes. Tamako Kitashirakawa prevailed over Chiwa Harusaki, 4212-2954, with Kana Minami dead last with 2954 votes.
Wrapping up action on Postseason 7, Tsubasa Kazanari took out Aya Komichi 3900-3705 with Stocking Anarchy trailing with 2026 votes. Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi pulverized Emi Yusa 6211-2980. Frenda Seivelun was last with 2864 votes. Finally, Mimi defeated Natsumi Hinata in a match of old schoolers, 3530-2535. Chiyo Mihama, much to the disappointment of the Bedlam on Baltic Avenue, validated Azumanga Daioh as old news that missed the boat with onky 2435 votes.
