The last match day before the Eliminations Period in the 2022 International Saimoe League, Amethyst Match Day 6, is complete. As expected, Hu Tao and Raiden Ei, the Raiden Shogun of Inazuma, will settle it for the right to be the best saimoekko in all of Teyvat. Hu Tao eased past Ganyu 3605-2468, while Raiden dusted off Ayaka Kamisato 3348-2638. Based on results, all signs point to a close win for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor director, but don't tell that to Tao.
"Raiden is a powerful Electro Archon for a reason," said Hu Tao while being asked for her thoughts by local media from Liyue and Mondstadt. "I know that I cannot underestimate the momentum she brings from having all of Inazuma under her command. As for me, I believe that I am capable of representing the hopes and dreams of not only Liyue, but all of Teyvat. Zhongli knows that I have waited all my life for this moment. I can't stop now!"
"Inazuma shines eternal, but so too does saimoe shine eternal," said Ei from a press conference in Inazuma City next to her own statue. "I believe that my centuries of leadership and battle-hardened resolve, combined with my renewed energy and drive upon casting the die with the Traveler, shall prove to the world that I can represent Teyvat with a strength and unshakable belief in my people. No matter where you are, or whose side you are on, I will be sure to let the whole world know that when all is said and done, Saimoe Shines Eternal!"
The final is scheduled for 8 January 2023 on InternationalSaimoe.com.
