I got into a heated argument with my mom over a trivial issue. It got so out of hand that I had to call a police officer. He came, and told us that since this is a dispute, it did not count as a crime. So he went on his way, and the house gained immunity from being raided by police.
However, I had to do this. I never like to get into arguments. I never got into any recent rows with my dad, but I had issues with my mom. She says I've been "ruining her day." I have nothing to do with it. But she uses me as a scapegoat. Where is the logic behind that? I wanted to prove a point: the world is not as safe as we thought it can be. Parents kill their children. Children kill their parents. Domestic disputes happen in nearly every city. I wanted my mom to realize that while I have my faults, I don't to be in a situation they put on themselves.
Sure, there was no crime committed. But I wanted t let my mom know that people in West Long Beach look out for each other, and if the neighbors see something go out of hand, the police will arrest them, and it can get worse.
It won't happen again because the house gained immunity from being interrogated by police. But while I have my faults, my parents should know that they have issues controlling their anger as well.
The world is a challenging place, but the house gains immunity
